On November 1, the GRIL U teens participated in a ‘Real Life’ Simulation. This simulation is based off of an episode from the Cosby Show where the Cosby’s gave Theo a taste of the real world.  In this simulation the teens each are given $550 where they then begin the work of finding housing, getting food, setting up bank accounts, getting into college, etc.  It was a great experience for them in realizing the complexities of being grown up.  The teens will take this experience and begin writing their 1, 5 and 10 year goals for their futures.  What are your future goals?  Have you written them down?  We encourage you to take some time to do this!
