The GRIL U teens took part in the second piece of the Cross Cultural Leading training.  They arrivedSaturday morning to participate in an activity where they created societies that showed them how systems are developed.  During the training, the teens paired up and talked about race and their personal stories regarding race.  They participated in a stereotyping activity where they learned that no stereotype, including good stereotypes, are good.

The training ended with several videos that helped them gain an understanding of Internalized Racial Oppression and Internalized Racial Superiority.  It was a great time of learning and growing together in understanding cross cultural leadership!
