On Wednesday, December 3, the GRIL U teens gathered to learn what it means to be an empowering leader.  They looked at the definition of empowerment, as well what it means to empower at home, at school, in their churches/ministries and together in the city.  As the teens have been learning about how God created and wired them, they’ve been challenged to do the same with others – to give them power as they have been given power.  In this training we used a wide variety of activities and media to see empowerment in action:  acting out skits, listening to LeCrae’s song ‘After the Music Stops’,  as well watching a clip from the movie ‘Ray’.  How have you empowered others today – at home, in your work place, in the city?
