This week the GRIL U teens continued the work of learning how to be empowering leaders.  In this time they talked about the commitments they made at the All Region a few weeks ago as empowering leaders at home, school, church/ministry and community.  They also participated in an activity that showed them what empowerment looks like with individuals who are ‘quiet’, who are ‘peacekeepers’, who are ‘drama  oriented, who are ‘servants’, who are ‘attention seekers’, etc.  This activity challenged them (as well it should challenge all of us) about the importance of leading individuals by identifying their gifts, and then allowing them to use those gifts.

I think we all know what it is like to lead in our gifts; as well we all know that our impact is higher when we do this.  Imagine a city where everyone knows their gifts and are able to walk in them!!!
