As GR Initiatives for Leaders new program year begins, Our entire staff are full of anticipation created from the growth we have witnessed in our emerging teen and adult leaders activities over the years. I am excited as I anticipate our young leaders being provided with the tools and assessments that will help them gauge their personal leadership styles, barriers and opportunities. I anticipate our young leaders discovering their value to their neighborhood and overall community – the realization that they are their community’s greatest asset, while being challenged to understand how to engage their community in service.
I further anticipate the experience of observing our teens realizing the many injustices that exist in the world and in our community. I anticipate our young leaders identifying the ways that they cannot engage but be a part of the change that they want to see in Grand Rapids and beyond. Please continue to keep all our emerging leaders and past alumni in your prayers as they continue to connect with GRIL. GRIL will continue to provide the cutting edge leadership experience that we are known for and we seek God to provide the increase that is needed for all of us to witness and be a part of the transformational power that only God can provide.
