I decided to participate in GRIL U because I wanted to go deeper in my faith and wanted to learn more about leadership.

I grew up in a very narrow minded, suburban, and sheltered area of Grand Rapids.  GRIL U taught me to value diversity and service.  This shaped what I was involved in at North Park University and taught me how to be a better and more involved leaders in all areas of my life.

I would recommend  the GRIL U program to teens because it was the stepping stone to an entire life change.  GRIL U taught me more than I ever thought possible.  I firmly believe that every young person should go through this program.
