I’m Michelean Case and I decided to participate in GRIL because my friend Jacob participated and I loved the community that he had joined.  I wanted to experience the same thing.  While in GRIL U, I gained self-confidence, an in-depth view of my flaws, and how I could grow to change them.

My mission is to help people in other countries by uprooting and immersing myself in their culture.  Currently, I am a volunteer at Cesar Chavez Elementary where I lead a discipleship group and will lead a mission trip to Guyana.

I think that GRIL is wonderful for anyone with doubts, struggles, pain, or questions.  It builds the person from where they are.  It’s a transformational experience.
