We are committing to walk with alumni and participants during all three phases of the next year:
Phase 1: The Pandemic. We will walk with you as you are reminded of who you are as God made you and in the purpose He’s given you – first focusing on creating rhythms for yourselves in relation to God, self, others (family/friends then focusing on leadership roles (work, volunteer, etc.) as taught in Matthew 22:37)
Phase 2: The Recovery (during the few months post the pandemic). We will remind you to focus on carrying the rhythms and priorities you’ve developed so that once we are all able to stop ‘social distancing’ and work move away from the house, you are at your best. This time period will include leading and ministering to others through the trauma and grief of the pandemic and as everyone discovers the ‘new normal’.
Phase 3: The New Normal. We will encourage you to continue these rhythms as you begin to live out this new normal, one that is healthier than before the pandemic and leads to community change – new ways of being!
How will we carry this out?
We will challenge and support you to be reminded of how God created you (remember those personal assessment tools), why (your personal mission statement) you were created and how to live well with some new rhythms through:
- Teachings and learning spaces via Zoom and our social media platforms
- CommUNITY Zoom gatherings: Saturdays at 1pm for youth and young adults with adult-focused gatherings coming soon!
- Challenge videos led by you
We love and believe in you. We know that God is moving and is asking us to prepare for the next chapter once the social distancing ban has been lifted. Will you join us in being ready to lead this in new season?
