Tuesday evening (April 22) the Oakdale Park Church teens raised awareness about Stereotyping in the Oakdale neighborhood.
On Wednesday evening (April 23), the Madison Square Church teens raised awareness about issues dealing with Immigration.
Christy Knetsch, Site Coordinator for Madison, shares the following regarding the below photo: “It was on the corner of Madison and Hall street. We met these two young people who stopped to share their stories of how the dream act has impacted their lives. This was one of the most powerful days in my career. I’m so thankful for a job that inspires me and gives me hope that the young people in our presence are going to make the world a better place!!”
We praise God for young leaders who are willing to take a stand. We also look forward to the work of the Navigator site teens next week Wednesday (April 30) from 7-8 pm) at Rivertown Mall (near the Meijer entrance).
