The GRIL U teens have been continuing their learning on Time Management and Balance.  They recently completed a time log for a week to see where they were spending their time. Since then, they broke the time-log down to see exactly how many hours were spent with family, at school, at church, on social media, etc.  From there they worked on a worksheet that helped them identify their priorities and compare those priorities to where their actual time went.  As a result, the teens are now working to create a calendar for a typical week that would show them ‘balance’ in their life.  In declaring God as a priority, they could see on this calendar times that were set aside for devotions and prayer.  If they were declaring family as a priority, they would clearly be able to see family time on the calendar.  If school is a priority they would see time set aside for homework.  Once their priorities are in place on the calendar, they then begin to fill the open times with friends, social media, etc.

What would your perfectly balanced week look like?  What would need to change?
