This year, we have the pleasure of having an AmeriCorps Vista member working in our office. Chelsea Clark will be helping us development and implement our college preparation and access work for GRIL teen alumni. Chelsea is from Coopersville, MI and attended Alma College where she received a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service and Art & Design. She received a master’s degree in International Development from the University of Denver. As a Fulbright Scholar, Chelsea taught high school English classes in Malaysia.
Chelsea’s ultimate career goal is to work for the United Nations helping vulnerable migrants from Southeast Asia. During her time with us, she hopes to gain a better understanding of Grand Rapids communities, more experience working with teens, and be inspired to figure out her next career move.
